Der verrückte Eismacher
If you’re on the lookout for really tasty but also unusual kinds of ice cream, this is the place for you. “Crazy” is definitely on the program here: It starts with the flavors on offer such as beer-flavored or fish finger-flavored ice cream and ends with the furnishings. There are however “normal” flavors of ice cream on offer, making the choice all the more difficult. Dark Chocolate is definitely worth recommending.
A walk through the parks at the Nymphenburg Palace
Leave the hectic of the city behind you and enjoy a relaxing stroll through the beautiful parks at the Nymphenburg Palace. Round it off with a visit to the “Backspielhaus” at Südliche Auffahrtsallee 77. My tip: try the tasty “Scheiterhaufen” (apple cake with almond slivers).
The Eisbachwelle (Eisbach Wave) is truly unique and well worth a visit. Where else can you go surfing in the middle of the city? Needless to say, this attracts a large audience who marvel at the surfers’ talents from morning to night. A visit to the wave can be combined with a stroll through the magnificent English Garden.
In the coming weeks, more EXPO REAL staff will tell us about their favorite Munich spots.
